2 DAYS TO GO! THE EURO-MED AWARD FOR DIALOGUE

There is still time to nominate a candidate for the Euro-Mediterranean Award for Dialogue Between Cultures!

The annual award will recognize the achievements of individuals and organizations that have been at the forefront of promoting dialogue in the Euro-Mediterranean region.  Each year there will be a new theme; for 2007, the theme is: 

Women and Men Hand in Hand for Gender Equality

The choice for this theme comes in the framework of the European Year of Equal Opportunities for All. 

As a member of the Anna Lindh Foundation National Networks, you have a unique opportunity to nominate an individual or organization for this prestigious award. Nominated individuals or organizations do not necessary have to be members of a National Network of the Anna Lindh Foundation.

How to nominate: 

National network members are invited to nominate organizations or individuals working in the field of intercultural dialogue and in promoting gender equality. A nomination can also be jointly presented by several members of National Networks.

Nomination proposals should include a C.V. and key reasons for the nomination, highlighting specific activities and achievements the candidate has achieved during the last three years. A candidate can be proposed either as an individual or as the representative of an organization.

Why Nominate:

The winner of the award will receive an honorary trophy as well as participate in a number of the Foundation’s activities.

Deadline for nominations is the 31st of May.
